District Manager
As a District Manager at Public Storage, you will oversee a portfolio of multi-unit locations, ensuring operational excellence and delivering exceptional customer experiences. In this position, you will recruit, motivate, and retain a team of customer-facing hourly front-line employees. Your responsibilities include managing physical assets, overseeing repair and maintenance systems, vendor management, and ensuring cleaning standards are met. You will also conduct monthly property audits to ensure operational standards and safety compliance, and address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership experience in building and developing high-performing teams of non-exempt employees in retail, service, hospitality, or related industries. A proven track record of top-tier performance, experience managing operational audits and payroll budgets, exceptional communication and time management skills, and proficiency in MS Office are essential. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, and candidates should be willing to relocate for growth opportunities.
Compensation for this role includes a first-year annual total compensation award opportunity of $109,000, comprising base salary, guaranteed quarterly bonuses, and restricted stock units. Additional benefits include participation in the company stock program with quarterly dividends, comprehensive group healthcare programs, a 401(k) plan with generous employer match, paid time off, and a Monday through Friday work schedule.
