Dispatch Driver/ Water Sampler

Eurofins is seeking a Dispatch Driver/Water Sampler to join our team in Auckland, New Zealand. This role is integral to our operations, focusing on the collection of water samples from various locations, including environmental monitoring sites, trade waste facilities, domestic supply taps, pump houses, pools, waste treatment plants, and customer sites. The successful candidate will work closely with our dispatch team to ensure timely and accurate sample collection, contributing to our mission of providing high-quality analytical testing services.

Key responsibilities include coordinating with customers to schedule and fulfill their sampling requirements, preparing consumables for dispatch, and collecting samples directly from client sites. The role demands meticulous attention to detail to accurately record sampling details such as time, location, and on-site measurements. Ensuring that samples are collected without contamination and performing any necessary on-site measurements are critical aspects of the daily tasks.

The ideal candidate will possess practical knowledge of basic microbiological or sample handling techniques, though on-the-job training is available. Experience in a production environment and working as part of a large team is advantageous. Essential attributes include attention to detail, initiative, reliability, flexibility, and strong time management skills. A current New Zealand full driver's license is mandatory, and the candidate must be physically fit to perform the duties required.
