Director, Total Rewards
The Director, Total Rewards at Mineralys Therapeutics will lead the design, implementation, and administration of the company's total rewards strategy, encompassing compensation, equity, benefits, and wellness programs. This role is pivotal in attracting, motivating, and retaining top talent in a competitive biotech environment. The Director will collaborate closely with executive leadership, HR business partners, Finance, Legal, and external advisors to ensure that total rewards programs are market-competitive, scalable, compliant, and aligned with business objectives and company culture.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing a comprehensive total rewards strategy aligned with business goals and organizational growth stages. The Director will serve as the subject-matter expert for compensation, benefits, and equity programs, ensuring alignment with company philosophy and values. Establishing governance processes, policies, and controls to support consistent and compliant rewards practices globally is also a critical aspect of this role.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, along with over 10 years of progressive total rewards experience, including leadership in compensation and benefits. Experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or similarly complex, regulated industries in a commercial-stage organization is essential. Strong knowledge of equity compensation and long-term incentive programs, as well as proven experience partnering with executive leadership and Boards or Compensation Committees, is required. Proficiency with HRIS and compensation management platforms is also necessary.
