The Director of Science and Technology (S&T) Planning at CannonDesign is a visionary leader responsible for shaping and advancing the firm's S&T design practice. This role involves building and leading a high-performing international planning team, mentoring talent, and driving innovation to meet client needs. The position is remote, allowing for flexibility in team collaboration across various locations.

Key responsibilities include leading and inspiring a team of planners, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration, and aligning resources to project needs in partnership with Regional Directors. The director will also advance CannonDesign's vision for innovative laboratory planning, champion new approaches and methodologies, and stay ahead of industry trends. Additionally, the role involves leading recruitment efforts, developing strategies to retain and engage team members, and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field, with at least 15 years of experience in S&T planning. Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities, a deep understanding of healthcare systems, and excellent communication and organizational skills are essential. Experience in business development, client engagement, and a demonstrated ability to generate revenue are also required. A passion for innovation and continuous improvement, along with thought leadership through writing, speaking, and industry engagement, is highly valued.

The salary range for this position is $1,438,000 to $1,798,000 annually, with eligibility for discretionary bonuses.
