The Director of Revenue Accounting at CoreWeave will lead the Revenue Accounting and Billing team, overseeing the accounting for complex, multi-billion dollar sales contracts and ensuring accurate invoicing. This role involves close collaboration with various departments, including Technical Revenue, Revenue Operations, Sales, FP&A, Product Management, and Engineering, to adapt to new products and go-to-market strategies while automating processes. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Accounting, this position offers a significant opportunity to impact the future of the Finance department and the company as a whole.

Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with ASC 606 and other standards in 10-K and 10-Q filings, collaborating with senior members of various business functions to adapt to business changes such as acquisitions and new products, partnering with the FP&A team for accurate revenue forecasting, updating accounting policies in collaboration with the Technical Revenue team, driving internal process improvement initiatives, managing a growing team of over 10 members, overseeing the integration of revenue accounting and billing processes of acquired companies, proposing and implementing process improvements across the Order to Cash cycle, leading and developing the Revenue Accounting and Billing team, performing SOX internal controls, and working with external auditors to address and close audit issues promptly.

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in Revenue Accounting at high-growth tech companies, including at least 6 years within public companies and 4 years of Big 4 audit experience. Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and 340 is required, with knowledge of ASC 842 considered a plus. The candidate should have deep experience evaluating sales contracts and related agreements for technical and operational revenue considerations, proposing solutions, and improving end-to-end order to cash processes. Excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, and strong written and oral communication skills are essential. The candidate should also be comfortable rolling up their sleeves and getting into the details.

The base salary range for this role is $165,000 to $242,000, determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to base salary, the total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program.
