Director of Strategy & Planning
The Director of Strategy & Planning at BrainRocket will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive OKR framework that aligns all departments with the company's strategic goals. This role involves close collaboration with C-level executives and department heads to ensure effective goal setting, tracking, and adjustment, thereby creating a unified organizational direction. As the "architect of efficiency" for global operations, the Director will translate the company's vision into actionable, measurable, and structured plans.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with leadership to define and refine strategic objectives, ensuring alignment across all departments, and providing direction to cascade high-level goals effectively. The Director will design a standardized goal-setting framework, implement templates and guidelines, and oversee a reporting system to track progress on key goals. Additionally, the role involves delivering regular updates and recommendations to executives, leading change management initiatives, and conducting workshops to reinforce alignment and effectiveness in goal-setting and performance tracking.
The ideal candidate will have over seven years of experience in strategic planning, management consulting, or operational leadership, with at least 3-5 years specifically within the iGaming sector. Significant experience in operations management or performance management in large organizations with multiple departments is essential. Proficiency in developing and implementing OKR frameworks, setting and interpreting performance metrics, data-driven decision-making, and financial modeling is required. A structured mindset, exceptional interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to articulate complex ideas simply are also crucial. Candidates should be based in or willing to relocate to Spain.
