Director of Revenue Cycle Management

BetterHelp is seeking a Director of Revenue Cycle Management to lead and optimize our revenue cycle operations. As the world's largest online therapy service, BetterHelp is dedicated to making mental health care accessible and affordable globally. This role offers the opportunity to join a diverse team committed to expanding access to therapy and enhancing mental health services.

The Director will develop and implement operational processes aligned with revenue cycle management best practices to maximize reimbursement. Responsibilities include leading a team handling claim edits, follow-ups, and denial management tasks with various payers. The role also involves analyzing data to identify trends, coordinating with departments to resolve claim reimbursement issues, and collaborating with external RCM technology and staffing vendors.

Candidates should have over 8 years of experience in healthcare, particularly in billing and follow-up functions with insurance companies on behalf of providers. A minimum of 4 years supervising teams of individual contributors and managers is required. Deep expertise in eligibility and claim submission processes, experience building cross-functional relationships, and the ability to set up effective processes and frameworks are essential.

The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $160,000 to $190,000, along with eligibility for a performance bonus.
