The Director of AI Engineering, Internal Products, will lead a team focused on developing AI-driven internal tools to improve various business operations, including Finance, HR, Operations, Sales, and Marketing. This role involves building products that enhance internal systems, support field teams, and provide real-time operational insights. The director will also spearhead the development of an AI-powered internal development platform, enabling employees to create software solutions autonomously.
Candidates should possess a strong technical background with experience in building and deploying production software. A deep understanding of AI technologies, including modern AI coding tools and agents, is essential. The role requires a pragmatic approach to system design, encompassing security, integrations, and maintainability. Strong product thinking skills are necessary to translate business needs into effective software solutions. Leadership experience in recruiting, developing, and managing engineering teams is also required.
The compensation package includes a base salary ranging from $250,000 to $290,000 per year, complemented by variable pay and equity components.
