CannonDesign is seeking a visionary and strategic Director of Health Planning to lead and expand its international planning team within the Health Practice. This pivotal role involves shaping the future of healthcare planning by building a top-tier team, mentoring talent, aligning resources to projects, and driving innovation in partnership with healthcare consulting teams.

The Director will be responsible for building, leading, and inspiring a high-performing team of healthcare planners across the firm. This includes mentoring team members to elevate planning expertise and career growth, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration, and maintaining a clear understanding of team capacity, project needs, and individual strengths in partnership with Regional Directors. Additionally, the role involves aligning planning resources to the right projects to ensure quality and efficiency, collaborating with practice and project leaders to optimize team performance, and advancing CannonDesign’s vision for innovative healthcare planning in partnership with healthcare consulting.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field, with a preferred 15 years of experience in healthcare planning. Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities are essential, along with a deep understanding of healthcare systems, planning methodologies, and design integration. Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills are required, as well as experience in business development and client engagement. A demonstrated ability to generate revenue and meet financial goals, a passion for innovation and continuous improvement, and demonstrated thought leadership through writing, speaking, and industry engagement are also important.

The salary range for this position is $180,800 to $226,000 annually. Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and are offered a full benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, flexible spending account options, and voluntary insurances.
