Director, Business Development
Anduril Industries is seeking a Director of Business Development to join our team in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. This role is integral to our mission of transforming defense capabilities through advanced technology. The Business Development team identifies and cultivates new opportunities, ensuring our products meet and exceed client expectations in a rapidly evolving defense landscape.
The Director will be responsible for generating and capturing business opportunities by understanding client needs, monitoring programmatic and technical roadmaps, and staying informed about the competitive landscape. This includes managing engagements with current and prospective clients, developing growth strategies, and overseeing the proposal process. Additionally, the role involves partnering with Operations teams to expand existing business and effectively communicating Anduril's value proposition to a broad audience.
Candidates must be eligible to hold an NV2 Australian security clearance, with a TSPV clearance desired. The role requires the ability to travel to meet with customers and support activities, as well as the capability to work effectively as part of an integrated, international team. A robust knowledge of Australian legal frameworks related to defense and technology projects is essential.
Preferred qualifications include experience leading responses to Commonwealth approaches to market, familiarity with complex defense systems involving hardware and software, and a sound understanding of government business development and proposal processes. Prior military experience is also advantageous.
