DevSecOps Team Lead
BrainRocket is seeking a DevSecOps Team Lead to join our dynamic team in one of our European offices, including Belgrade, Serbia; Lisbon, Portugal; Sofia City, Bulgaria; Valencia, Spain; or Warsaw, Poland. As a global company specializing in end-to-end tech products across Fintech, iGaming, and Marketing, we are committed to innovation and rapid product development. This role requires on-site presence, with no remote or hybrid options available.
In this position, you will define and implement the DevSecOps strategy, roadmap, and operating model across the organization. Your responsibilities include building and leading a high-performing DevSecOps team, integrating security into CI/CD pipelines, and managing security for Kubernetes (EKS), Istio, and Service Mesh environments. Additionally, you will oversee policy-as-code implementation, secure infrastructure-as-code, drive cloud security initiatives, and ensure alignment with SSDLC and security governance standards.
The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or Cloud Security, with a proven track record in leadership or ownership of security initiatives. Strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, Service Mesh (Istio), and container security is essential. Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and a solid understanding of cloud security (AWS and/or GCP) are also required. Familiarity with security scanners in pipelines, microservices architecture, SIEM platforms, and secure system design will be advantageous.
