DevOps Lead

Eurofins is seeking a DevOps Lead to join our Genomics business unit, a global leader in DNA sequencing and bioinformatics services. This role is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, and involves collaborating with international teams to develop and maintain mission-critical applications and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). The DevOps Lead will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and scalability of our cloud infrastructure and deployment platforms.

The DevOps Lead will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-grade DevOps and cloud platforms across Azure. Key responsibilities include leading the development of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, enforcing DevOps standards for source control and release management, driving Infrastructure as Code (IaC) adoption with Terraform, and automating environment setup and scaling. Additionally, the role involves managing performance and non-production environments to support various testing activities and collaborating with global teams to ensure compliance with program and governance requirements.

Candidates should possess strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipeline design, and release orchestration. Proficiency in Azure Cloud services, including App Services, AKS, Azure Functions, and Application Gateway, is essential. Expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, and scripting skills in PowerShell or Python are required. A minimum of 10–14 years of IT experience, with at least 7 years in DevOps or Platform Engineering roles, is preferred.
