Eurofins Scientific is seeking a DevOps professional to join our global IT Application Monitoring and Observability team. This team plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and infrastructure, supporting over 61,000 employees worldwide. By handling over 3TB of data daily, the team provides insights through data collection, processing, and visualization, utilizing advanced statistical and machine learning methods to proactively address potential issues.

In this role, you will report to the development leader and contribute to the development and maintenance of Eurofins' Observability Stack. Your responsibilities will include Linux administration, implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, containerization with Docker, and managing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices. Additionally, you will engage in data analysis projects, leveraging your strong foundation in statistics and mathematics, and work with the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Beats, Logstash) to enhance monitoring capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have 4 to 8 years of professional IT experience, with mandatory skills in Linux administration, Terraform, Docker, CI/CD practices, data analysis, and familiarity with the Elastic Stack. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL and experience with Grafana. Strong English communication skills, interpersonal relations, and a consultant mindset are essential. The ability to work in a complex international environment and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement are also highly valued.
