The Role: DevOps Engineer II
• Manage cloud infrastructure and developer experience for a modern AWS-native SaaS platform.
• Hands-on ownership of CI/CD pipelines, AWS infrastructure, and deployment tooling.
• Collaborate with backend and frontend engineers to ship reliable infrastructure, handle incidents, and improve software deployment.
• Focus on execution and ownership rather than org-wide strategy.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain and extend AWS infrastructure across test, staging, and production using AWS CDK (TypeScript) and Terraform.
• Manage compute (Lambda, ECS Fargate), networking (VPC, CloudFront, Route 53), storage (S3, DynamoDB), and messaging (SQS, EventBridge, MSK).
• Review infrastructure PRs ensuring clean, consistent, well-documented IaC.
• Own and enhance GitHub Actions pipelines for backend, containerized, and frontend services.
• Maintain deployment safety controls, rollback, and environment promotion workflows.
• Monitor system health with CloudWatch, New Relic, and AWS X-Ray.
