Detective & Police Officers - Freelance AI Trainer Project
Invisible Technologies is seeking current or former law enforcement professionals to contribute to the development of AI systems in public safety. This freelance, remote role involves applying real-world policing experience to train and evaluate AI models, ensuring their accuracy and alignment with operational needs.
Key responsibilities include interacting with AI models on law enforcement-related scenarios, reviewing and evaluating model responses involving criminal investigations, patrol operations, report writing, evidence handling, interviewing techniques, use-of-force considerations, procedural justice, and ethical decision-making. The role also involves identifying inaccuracies, gaps in reasoning, or unrealistic assumptions, and documenting where models fail to reflect real-world law enforcement practices.
Candidates should have professional experience in law enforcement, such as patrol officers, detectives, investigators, or members of specialized units. Experience with report writing, case management systems, courtroom preparation, or interagency coordination is highly valuable. Clear written communication skills and the ability to explain decision-making and reasoning in plain language are essential. No prior AI or technical background is required, as training and guidelines will be provided.
The compensation for this role ranges from $6 to $65 per hour, with the exact rate determined after evaluating the candidate's experience, expertise, and geographic location. As a contractor, the individual will need to supply a secure computer and high-speed internet; company-sponsored benefits such as health insurance and paid time off do not apply.
