The Design Manager, Platform & Productivity at Mindbody will lead a team of Senior Designers to enhance complex omni-channel experiences. This role focuses on improving workflows that power Mindbody's critical platforms, including the Identity Platform, AI Assistant, and Internal Growth Tools. Key responsibilities include leading a small team through complex omni-channel experiences, fostering a culture of psychological safety and design excellence, and championing customer-centric decision-making. The Design Manager will map and analyze current workflows to identify areas for improvement and orchestrate multi-touch journeys that elevate both digital and non-digital experiences. Additionally, the role involves building products that help wellness professionals thrive and encourage more people to engage in meaningful real-life experiences.
Candidates should have at least 7 years of product design experience, including 1-2 years managing designers, and a portfolio demonstrating deep craft and end-to-end product thinking on complex systems and workflows. The ideal candidate thrives on complexity, enjoys diving into broad problem spaces, and is comfortable leading cross-functional teams through ambiguity. Strong product thinking skills, the ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative insights, and an evolving perspective on design's role in AI and automation are essential.
The base salary range for this position in the United States is $185,000 to $235,000 per year. The total compensation package may also include performance bonuses, benefits, and other applicable incentive compensation plans.
