Dental Patient Coordinator
The Dental Patient Coordinator role is a remote, part-time position supporting a well-established dental practice in Florida. This role is ideal for individuals with dental administrative experience who are comfortable managing patient communications and insurance processes from a remote setting.
Key responsibilities include answering incoming calls, assisting patients with scheduling and general inquiries, scanning and securely sending patient documentation, verifying dental insurance benefits, handling billing tasks, and maintaining accurate patient records. The coordinator will also ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and collaborate with the dental office team to support daily operations.
Candidates should have previous experience in a dental office environment, proficiency with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software, a strong understanding of dental billing and insurance verification, knowledge of HIPAA compliance, excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting. Preferred qualifications include experience with DEXIS imaging software, prior remote work experience, and familiarity with Florida-based dental insurance plans.
The position offers a part-time schedule of 20 hours per week, with the potential to transition into a full-time role based on performance. Compensation ranges from $500 to $700 per month. Additional perks include a $50 birthday bonus, a $200 testimonial bonus, and a $500 entry into a monthly raffle. The role operates on Eastern Standard Time working hours.
