Data Protection and Privacy Analyst
Arrow Electronics is seeking a Data Protection and Privacy Analyst to join our team in Alpharetta, Georgia. This role is integral to safeguarding the organization's data assets and ensuring compliance with global privacy laws. The analyst will collaborate across departments to develop and implement privacy-first business practices, helping the company manage risk and maintain trust with customers, employees, and partners.
Key responsibilities include monitoring and interpreting global privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, HIPAA, and GLBA to assess their impact on business operations. The analyst will support the development, implementation, and maintenance of global privacy policies, conduct privacy impact assessments, and manage data privacy certifications. Additionally, the role involves identifying privacy risks, supporting incident response activities, and providing guidance on privacy best practices to internal teams.
The ideal candidate will possess a Paralegal Certificate or a Bachelor's degree in Information Privacy, Cybersecurity, Law, Business, or a related field, along with 2–4 years of relevant experience in privacy, compliance, risk management, or data governance. Familiarity with major privacy regulations and frameworks, experience drafting contracts and policies, and strong analytical and communication skills are essential. Certifications such as CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPM, or CIPT are considered a plus.
