Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer at Monks, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and cloud infrastructure to support our Data Strategy team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects within a dynamic and challenging work environment at the forefront of AI-driven marketing solutions.

Your primary responsibilities will include developing data pipelines and solutions across cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP, authenticating and integrating platform APIs, and automating end-to-end ETL processes for data integration and transformation. You will also participate in the design and implementation of data models and data warehouses, develop data transformation recipes, and monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues to ensure timely data availability.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics, along with at least one year of experience in data science or data engineering. Proficiency in Python and SQL, a solid understanding of data structures and databases, and familiarity with data modeling concepts and tools like dbt or Dataform are essential. Additionally, experience with cloud certifications such as GCP Cloud Architect or Data Engineer is highly desirable.
