Data Centre Technician - Porsgrunn, Norway
CoreWeave is seeking experienced Data Center Technicians to join our team in Porsgrunn, Norway. As a Data Center Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the overall availability and reliability of our high-performance infrastructure. This position is 100% onsite, with an expected start date of June 2026.
In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of data center operations, including hardware diagnostics, repairs, and the assembly and installation of equipment. Your duties will also involve developing documentation, training internal teams, and creating scripts to update server and networking hardware while maintaining an accurate inventory. Participation in a shift pattern and on-call rotations to support our 24/7 environment is required, with occasional travel to other data centers as needed.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of data center experience, including experience with data center buildouts and assembling and installing equipment. Proven computer hardware experience in troubleshooting and assembly, as well as proficiency with the Linux operating system, are essential. Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills are necessary, along with the ability to lift up to 22 kg and work in elevated locations. Valid work authorization that does not require current or future sponsorship is required.
Preferred qualifications include experience with computer networking, proficiency in Python, Bash, or other scripting languages, and experience with Cisco IOS and/or Juniper JunOS. A degree or equivalent experience in an IT-related field is also desirable.
