Data Center Technician – Express Your Interest
CoreWeave is seeking a Data Center Technician to join our team, ensuring the availability and reliability of our data center operations. This full-time, on-site role involves hardware and network diagnostics, repairs, and technical support, contributing to the seamless performance of our AI-focused cloud platform.
In this position, you will maintain data center operations to meet defined service levels, conduct hardware and network diagnostics and repairs, perform root cause analysis of hardware and software failures, train internal teams, develop documentation for processes and procedures, provide technical support to data center teams, develop scripts to update server and networking hardware, maintain inventory of equipment and supplies, assemble and install data center equipment, and perform maintenance of test and tool equipment. Occasional travel to other data centers may be required.
The ideal candidate will have experience in computer hardware troubleshooting and assembly, proficiency with the Linux operating system, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in elevated locations, and the capability to work in a 24/7 operational environment, including participation in an on-call rotation and providing after-hours support as needed. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills are essential. Hands-on or educational experience in computer networking, scripting languages such as Python or Bash, and familiarity with Cisco IOS and/or Juniper JunOS are also desirable. An Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in an IT-related field is preferred.
We offer a competitive salary ranging from $65,000 to $85,000, based on factors including market location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
