Data Center Security Specialist - Orangeburg

CoreWeave is seeking a Data Center Security Specialist to oversee and enforce physical security standards within our data center facilities. This role involves managing access policies, conducting audits, and collaborating with collocation partners to ensure the highest level of security for our personnel, infrastructure, and intellectual property. The successful candidate will report directly to the CoreWeave Area Data Center Security Manager.

Key responsibilities include the daily administration of security policies, producing timely audit reports, and enforcing the principle of "least privilege" for access. The specialist will develop and implement security training programs, establish regular training schedules, and maintain comprehensive security policy documentation. Regular inspections of data centers, creation of inspection reports, and leading investigations into security incidents are also integral to this role.

Candidates should have a minimum of five years of experience in the physical security field, with law enforcement or military experience considered valuable if it involved physical security responsibilities. A high school diploma or GED is required, while a degree in computer science, criminal justice, or a related field is preferable. Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with proficiency in office tools such as MAC, Windows, and Google Workspace.

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $79,000 to $93,000, based on factors including market location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
