Data Analist / Data Quality Analist
BESIX Infra Support is seeking a Data Analyst / Data Quality Analyst to join their ICT department in Schelle, Belgium. The company is undergoing a strategic transformation, migrating from Navision to Business Central, and aims to build a modern, data-driven organization. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality, structure, and stability of data to support various operational processes.
The successful candidate will analyze source data from NAV/4PS and other systems, perform data profiling to understand quality and inconsistencies, and detect errors such as duplicates and missing values. Responsibilities include developing recommendations for data controls, utilizing Power BI for data quality visualization, and supporting migration activities like mapping and data cleaning. Additionally, the role involves contributing to data definitions, maintaining a data catalog, establishing data quality rules, and collaborating with business stakeholders to translate complex data solutions into clear, actionable information.
Applicants should possess strong experience with SQL, proficiency in Power BI, and an understanding of ERP data models and migration processes. Experience with Python is advantageous. The role requires excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to work with large datasets, and effective communication abilities. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in data analysis, statistics, computer science, economics, or equivalent experience is required. Experience in organizations with extensive operational flows, such as construction or logistics, is a plus.
