D365 Finance Consultant and Business Analyst, D365 CoE
The D365 Finance Consultant and Business Analyst role at Eurofins involves collaborating with finance key users, process owners, finance leads, and internal and external IT teams to support the global deployment of the D365 Finance and Operations (D365FO) solution across more than 40 countries. This position is part of the D365 Centre of Excellence (CoE) and focuses on ensuring the successful rollout of the global D365FO finance solution, driving standardization and harmonization of the future finance operating model at Eurofins.
Key responsibilities include configuring and maintaining D365FO Finance modules such as Accounting, Chart of Accounts, Dimensions, Fixed Assets, Sales, Cost Accounting, and Warehousing in accordance with global design and internal policies. The role also involves setting up, supporting, and validating integrations between D365FO and surrounding systems like CRM, ADMS, and LIMS, ensuring process continuity and data consistency. Additionally, the consultant will lead and manage data migration activities, provide training and support during various project phases, and create and maintain necessary project documentation to ensure clarity and alignment with global standards.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of seven to eight years of hands-on experience with Microsoft ERP solutions, including D365FO/SCM, AX2012, and/or Great Plains, in roles such as Business Analyst, System Analyst, Functional Consultant, or Implementation Consultant. A strong understanding of end-to-end business processes, particularly in finance areas like general accounting, taxation, banking, reporting, and cost management, is essential. Solid knowledge of accounting principles, laws, and standards, including IFRS and US GAAP, is required. Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, are also necessary. A bachelor's or master's degree in finance, economics, business administration, information technology, computer science, or a related field is required, and a PMI-PMP or similar project management certification would be advantageous.
This role offers opportunities for professional development, including enhancing practical expertise in D365FO implementation and participating in global rollout projects. The position may involve occasional travel, typically between 20% and 40%, depending on the project phase, to support activities such as user acceptance testing, workshops, and Go-Live support. Contracts are offered with a minimum duration of one year, with a strong likelihood of extension to two years. A B2B arrangement is preferred, with flexibility for hybrid remote collaboration with international teams, and permanent contracts may also be considered.
