Cybersecurity Threat Researcher (Hybrid)

The Cybersecurity Threat Researcher at KnowBe4 will be an integral member of the Threat Research Lab, focusing on deploying and configuring security solutions across various platforms, including endpoint, email, web, and network protection. This role is hybrid, based in Arlington, Virginia, and offers the opportunity to work alongside a team dedicated to enhancing cybersecurity measures.

Key responsibilities include analyzing large datasets to identify threat trends across different regions and industries, investigating phishing emails, and conducting malware analysis. The researcher will also engage in independent research projects, contribute to external-facing content such as blogs, and assist various departments within KnowBe4 with threat intelligence.

Candidates should possess a BS or equivalent with at least three years of experience, or an MS with at least one year of experience. Proficiency in analyzing indicators of compromise (IOCs), reverse engineering, and tracking threat campaigns is essential. Experience with malicious URL and phishing email analysis, familiarity with Python automation, and a background in customer-facing environments are also preferred.

The compensation for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on the applicant's skills and experience.
