Cyber Security Subject Matter Expert
Eurofins is seeking a Cyber Security Subject Matter Expert to join their U.S. Electrical team, focusing on expanding North American cybersecurity offerings. This role involves collaborating with Eurofins' global organization to develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies. The position is based in California, with potential for remote work.
Key responsibilities include performing physical penetration tests and social engineering analyses, responding to cyber incidents, and evaluating the impact of new developments on IT systems' security posture. The expert will also review and test critical software, formulate security compliance requirements, identify and remediate security issues, and audit system security configurations. Additionally, the role involves working closely with development teams to enhance understanding of vulnerabilities and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure secure hardware and software architectures.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field with 12 years of applicable cybersecurity experience, or a Master's degree with 10 years of related experience. Preferred certifications include GIAC Web Applications Penetration Tester (GWAPT), GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Web Application Defender (GWEB), and Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP). Extensive experience in integrated security services management, information assurance support for application development, software development, data communications, and information security across public and private sectors is required. U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $185,000 annually, along with comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, and paid vacation and holidays.
