Cyber Security Specialist | AppSec
EBANX is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist with a focus on Application Security (AppSec) to join our IT team in Curitiba. In this position, you will lead the AppSec strategy and provide technical mentorship to analysts at various levels. Your responsibilities will include conducting in-depth security assessments, overseeing threat modeling sessions to identify architectural flaws early in the design phase, and managing the lifecycle of security vulnerabilities discovered through SAST, DAST, and SCA. Additionally, you will drive global security projects and effectively communicate risks to international stakeholders, ensuring alignment between security initiatives and business objectives.
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in the AppSec tooling ecosystem, with hands-on experience configuring and tuning SAST, DAST, and SCA within CI/CD pipelines. A strong command of API security and secret management is essential, including securing REST/GraphQL APIs and implementing robust policies for tokens, certificates, and secrets using tools like HashiCorp Vault and AWS Secrets Manager. Proficiency in multiple programming languages, such as Java, Python, Go, Node.js, is required to support diverse development teams. Advanced to fluent English communication skills are necessary for leading technical discussions and collaborating with distributed teams worldwide.
