Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

Public Storage, the leading provider in the self-storage industry, is seeking a Customer Service - Self Storage Manager to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work independently across multiple locations, both indoors and outdoors, within a flexible full-time schedule. As a Property Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining our facilities to the highest standards.

In this position, your primary responsibilities will include assessing customer storage needs and providing appropriate solutions, such as recommending packing and moving supplies. You will conduct daily inspections of storage units to ensure inventory accuracy and readiness for rental. Managing financial transactions, including auditing cash drawers and making bank deposits, will be part of your routine tasks. Additionally, you will assist customers with payment processes and perform reminder and collection calls as necessary.

The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service-oriented sales environments, such as retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service-based industries. A valid driver's license and the use of your own vehicle are required for travel between different work locations and for conducting work-related business; mileage reimbursement is provided. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and move items weighing up to 35 pounds, as well as spending up to 50% of your time in outdoor environments, which may involve climbing stairs and opening large doors.

Compensation for this role is $17.00 per hour. Employees working an average of 20 or more hours per week become eligible for full-time benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, paid time off, sick time, and flexible spending accounts.
