Customer Service - Self Storage Manager
Public Storage, the industry leader in self-storage solutions, is seeking a dedicated Customer Service - Self Storage Manager to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work independently across multiple locations, both indoors and outdoors, ensuring our facilities meet the highest standards and our customers receive exceptional service.
As a Self Storage Manager, you will assess customer storage needs, recommend appropriate solutions, and promote the sale of packing and moving supplies. Your daily responsibilities will include inspecting storage units to confirm inventory and availability, auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, and assisting customers with payments, including making reminder and collection calls when necessary.
The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service-oriented sales environments such as retail, restaurant, or other service-based industries. A valid driver's license and the use of a personal vehicle are required for travel between different work locations, with mileage reimbursement provided. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and move items weighing up to 35 pounds and spending up to 50% of the time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and performing cleaning and maintenance tasks.
Compensation for this position is $17.00 per hour. Employees working an average of 20+ hours per week become eligible for full-time benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, paid time off, sick time, and flexible spending accounts.
