Public Storage, the industry leader in self-storage solutions, is seeking a dedicated Customer Service - Self Storage Manager to join our team. In this role, you will work independently across multiple locations, both indoors and outdoors, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and delivering exceptional service to our customers.

As a Self Storage Manager, your primary responsibilities will include assessing customer storage needs and recommending appropriate solutions, including the sale of packing and moving supplies. You will conduct daily inspections of storage units to confirm inventory and availability, ensuring that spaces are ready for rental. Additionally, you will audit cash drawers, make bank deposits, and assist customers in staying current with their payments by making reminder and collection calls as needed.

The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service-oriented sales environments such as retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service-based industries. A valid driver's license and the use of your own vehicle are required for travel between different work locations and for conducting other work-related tasks; mileage reimbursement is provided. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and move items weighing up to 35 pounds, as well as spending up to 50% of your time in outdoor environments, which may involve climbing stairs and opening large doors.

Compensation for this full-time position is $15.00 per hour. Employees working an average of 20 or more hours per week become eligible for full-time benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, paid time off, sick time, and flexible spending accounts.
