Customer Service-Self Storage Manager
Public Storage is seeking a Customer Service-Self Storage Manager to join our team in Tampa, FL. As the industry leader in self-storage, we offer a dynamic work environment where you will play a key role in managing our storage facilities and ensuring customer satisfaction.
In this role, you will work independently across multiple locations, both indoors and outdoors. Your responsibilities will include assessing customer storage needs, recommending appropriate solutions, selling packing and moving supplies, conducting daily inspections of storage units to ensure readiness, auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, and assisting customers with payments and collections as needed.
The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service-oriented sales environments such as retail, restaurant, or other service-based industries. A valid driver's license and the use of your own vehicle for work-related travel are required, with mileage reimbursement provided. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and move items up to 35 pounds and spending up to 50% of your time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and performing maintenance tasks.
We offer a competitive hourly wage of $15.00, along with a comprehensive benefits package for employees working an average of 20+ hours per week. Flexible full-time schedules are available between 9:30 am and 6:00 pm, with weekends until 5:00 pm.
