Customer Service - Self Storage Manager
Public Storage, the leading self-storage company, is seeking a Customer Service - Self Storage Manager to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work independently across multiple locations, both indoors and outdoors, ensuring our facilities meet the highest standards and our customers receive exceptional service.
As a Self Storage Manager, you will assess customer storage needs, recommend appropriate solutions, and sell packing and moving supplies. Daily responsibilities include inspecting storage units to confirm inventory and availability, auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, and assisting customers with payments, including making reminder and collection calls when necessary.
The ideal candidate has experience in customer service-oriented sales environments such as retail, restaurants, or other service-based industries. A valid driver's license and the use of a personal vehicle for travel between work locations are required, with mileage reimbursement provided. Physical requirements include the ability to lift items up to 35 pounds and spend up to 50% of the time in outdoor environments, performing tasks like climbing stairs and opening large doors.
This full-time position offers a starting wage of $15.50 per hour.
