Customer Service - Self Storage Manager
Public Storage, the leading self-storage company, is seeking a Customer Service - Self Storage Manager to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work independently across multiple locations, both indoors and outdoors, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. As a Property Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining our high standards.
Key responsibilities include assessing customer storage needs and providing appropriate solutions, including the sale of packing and moving supplies. You will conduct daily inspections of storage units to ensure readiness for rental, audit cash drawers, and perform bank deposits. Additionally, maintaining customer accounts by processing payments and making collection calls when necessary is an integral part of the role.
The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service-oriented sales environments such as retail, restaurants, or other service-based industries. A valid driver's license and the use of a personal vehicle for travel between work locations are required, with mileage reimbursement provided. Physical requirements include the ability to lift items up to 35 pounds and spend up to 50% of the time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and performing maintenance tasks.
Compensation for this position is $16.00 per hour. Employees working an average of 20+ hours per week are eligible for benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, paid time off, sick time, and flexible spending accounts.
