Public Storage, the leading company in the self-storage industry, is seeking a Customer Service - Self Storage Manager to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work independently across multiple locations, both indoors and outdoors, within a flexible and full-time schedule. As a Property Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our facilities and ensuring exceptional customer service.

In this position, your primary responsibilities will include assessing customer storage needs and providing appropriate solutions, such as recommending packing and moving supplies. You will conduct daily inspections of storage units to verify inventory and availability, ensuring that all spaces are ready for rental. Additionally, you will be responsible for auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, and assisting customers with payment reminders and collection calls as needed.

The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service-oriented sales environments, such as retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service-based industries. A valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle are required, as the role involves traveling between different work locations and performing work-related tasks. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and move items weighing up to 35 pounds, as well as spending up to 50% of the time in outdoor environments, which may involve climbing stairs and opening large doors.

Compensation for this role is $18.00 per hour, with the opportunity to earn performance-based bonuses. Employees working an average of 20 or more hours per week become eligible for full-time benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, paid time off, sick time, and flexible spending accounts.
