Customer Service - Self Storage Manager
Public Storage, the leading provider in the self-storage industry, is seeking a Customer Service - Self Storage Manager to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work independently across multiple locations, both indoors and outdoors, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and facility management.
As a Self Storage Manager, you will assess customer storage needs, recommend appropriate solutions, and sell packing and moving supplies. Your daily responsibilities will include inspecting storage units to confirm inventory and availability, auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, and assisting customers with payments, including making reminder and collection calls when necessary.
The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service-oriented sales environments such as retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service-based industries. A valid driver's license and the use of your own vehicle for travel between work locations are required, with mileage reimbursement provided. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and move items weighing up to 35 pounds and spending up to 50% of your time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and opening large doors.
Compensation for this position is $16.00 per hour. Employees working an average of 20+ hours per week become eligible for full-time benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401k with match, paid time off, sick time, and flexible spending accounts.
