Customer Service - Self Storage Manager
Public Storage, a leader in the self-storage industry, is seeking a Customer Service - Self Storage Manager to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work independently across multiple locations, both indoors and outdoors, within a flexible schedule. As a Property Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our facilities and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Key responsibilities include assessing customer storage needs and providing appropriate solutions, including the sale of packing and moving supplies. You will conduct daily inspections of storage units to ensure readiness for rental, audit cash drawers, and perform bank deposits. Additionally, managing customer accounts by processing payments and making collection calls when necessary is an integral part of the role.
The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service-oriented sales environments such as retail, restaurants, or other service-based industries. A valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle are required, as the position involves traveling between different work locations, with mileage reimbursement provided. Physical requirements include the ability to lift items up to 35 pounds and spend up to 50% of the time in outdoor environments, performing tasks like climbing stairs and conducting maintenance duties.
Compensation for this position is $19.50 per hour, with opportunities for performance-based bonuses.
