Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

Public Storage is seeking a Customer Service - Self Storage Manager to oversee daily operations at our self-storage facilities. This role involves working independently across multiple locations, both indoors and outdoors, to ensure optimal facility management and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include assessing customer storage needs, recommending appropriate solutions, and promoting the sale of packing and moving supplies. The manager will conduct daily inspections of storage units to verify inventory and readiness for rental, audit cash drawers, make bank deposits, and assist customers with payments, including making reminder and collection calls as necessary.

Candidates should have experience in customer service-oriented sales environments such as retail, restaurant, or other service-based industries. A valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle are required for travel between work locations, with mileage reimbursement provided. Physical requirements include the ability to lift items up to 35 pounds and spend up to 50% of the time in outdoor environments, performing tasks like climbing stairs and opening large doors.

The position offers a starting wage of $15.00 per hour, with eligibility for full-time benefits upon averaging 20+ hours per week. Flexible full-time schedules are offered between 9:30 am and 6:00 pm, with weekend hours until 5:00 pm.
