Customer Service - Self Storage Manager
Public Storage, the leading company in the self-storage industry, is seeking a Customer Service - Self Storage Manager to join our team. In this role, you will work independently across multiple locations, both indoors and outdoors, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and delivering exceptional customer service.
As a Self Storage Manager, your primary responsibilities will include assessing customer storage needs and recommending appropriate solutions, including the sale of packing and moving supplies. You will conduct daily inspections of storage units to verify inventory and availability, ensuring that all spaces are ready for rental. Additionally, you will audit cash drawers, perform bank deposits, and assist customers in staying current with their payments by making reminder and collection calls as necessary.
The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service-oriented sales environments, such as retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service-based industries. A valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle are required, as the role involves traveling between different work locations and conducting work-related tasks. Mileage reimbursement is provided for such travel.
