Customer Service - Self Storage Manager
Public Storage, a leader in the self-storage industry, is seeking a Customer Service - Self Storage Manager to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work independently across multiple locations, both indoors and outdoors, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.
Key responsibilities include assessing customer storage needs and providing appropriate solutions, including the sale of packing and moving supplies. The manager will conduct daily inspections of storage units to verify inventory and readiness for rental, audit cash drawers, and perform bank deposits. Additionally, the role involves maintaining customer accounts by processing payments and making reminder and collection calls as necessary.
Candidates should have experience in customer service-oriented sales environments, such as retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service-based industries. A valid driver's license and the use of a personal vehicle for travel between work locations are required, with mileage reimbursement provided. Bilingual Spanish proficiency is preferred.
The position offers a starting wage of $16.00 per hour, with eligibility for full-time benefits upon averaging 20+ hours per week.
