Customer Service - Self Storage Manager
Public Storage, a leader in the self-storage industry, is seeking a Customer Service - Self Storage Manager to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work independently across multiple locations, both indoors and outdoors, within a flexible full-time schedule. As a Property Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our facilities and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include assessing customer storage needs and providing appropriate solutions, including the sale of packing and moving supplies. You will conduct daily inspections of storage units to verify inventory and readiness for rental, audit cash drawers, and perform bank deposits. Additionally, you will assist customers with payments and conduct reminder and collection calls as necessary.
The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service-oriented sales environments such as retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service-based industries. A valid driver's license and the use of your own vehicle for travel between work locations are required, with mileage reimbursement provided. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and move items up to 35 pounds, spend up to 50% of the time in outdoor environments, and perform cleaning and maintenance tasks to uphold facility standards.
Compensation for this position is $18.00 per hour, with competitive wages paid weekly.
