Customer Service - Self Storage Manager
Public Storage, a leader in the self-storage industry, is seeking a Customer Service - Self Storage Manager to join our team. As a Self Storage Manager, you will assess customer storage needs, recommend appropriate solutions, and sell packing and moving supplies. Your daily responsibilities will include inspecting storage units to ensure readiness for rental, auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, and assisting customers with payments and account management. Maintaining the cleanliness and security of the facility is also a key aspect of this role.
The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service-oriented sales environments such as retail, restaurant, or other service-based industries. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required, as the role involves traveling between different work locations. Physical requirements include the ability to lift items up to 35 pounds and spend significant time walking around the facilities, including climbing stairs and performing maintenance tasks.
Compensation for this position is $19.00 per hour, with eligibility for full-time benefits after averaging 20+ hours per week.
