Customer Service - Self Storage Manager
Public Storage, the leading provider in the self-storage industry, is seeking a dedicated Customer Service - Self Storage Manager to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work independently across multiple locations, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and delivering exceptional service to our customers.
As a Self Storage Manager, you will assess customer storage needs, recommend appropriate solutions, and sell packing and moving supplies. Your daily responsibilities will include inspecting storage units to confirm inventory and availability, auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, and assisting customers with payments, including making reminder and collection calls when necessary.
The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service-oriented sales environments such as retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service-based industries. A valid driver's license and the use of your own vehicle for travel between work locations are required, with mileage reimbursement provided. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and move items weighing up to 35 pounds and spending up to 50% of your time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and opening large doors.
We offer a competitive hourly wage of $18.50, with flexible full-time schedules between 9:30 am and 6:00 pm (weekends until 5:00 pm).
