Customer Service - Self Storage Manager
Public Storage, a leader in the self-storage industry, is seeking a Customer Service - Self Storage Manager to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work independently across multiple locations, both indoors and outdoors, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.
Key responsibilities include assessing customer storage needs and providing appropriate solutions, including the sale of packing and moving supplies. The manager will conduct daily inspections of storage units to verify inventory and availability, ensuring units are ready for rental. Additional duties involve auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, and assisting customers with payment reminders and collections as necessary.
The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service-oriented sales environments such as retail, restaurants, or other service-based industries. A valid driver's license and the use of a personal vehicle for travel between work locations are required, with mileage reimbursement provided. Physical requirements include the ability to lift items up to 35 pounds and spend up to 50% of the time in outdoor environments, which may involve climbing stairs and opening large doors.
Compensation for this position is $15.00 per hour, with performance-based bonuses available.
