Public Storage, a leader in the self-storage industry, is seeking a Customer Service - Self Storage Manager to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work independently across multiple locations, both indoors and outdoors, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. As a Property Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to exceptional customer service and operational excellence.

In this position, your primary responsibilities will include assessing customer storage needs and providing appropriate solutions, including the sale of packing and moving supplies. You will conduct daily inspections of storage units to verify inventory and readiness for rental, audit cash drawers, and perform bank deposits. Additionally, you will assist customers with payments, issue reminders, and make collection calls as necessary to ensure accounts remain current.

The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service-oriented sales environments such as retail, restaurants, or other service-based industries. A valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle are required for travel between work locations and other business-related tasks, with mileage reimbursement provided. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and move items up to 35 pounds, as well as spending up to 50% of the time in outdoor environments, which may involve climbing stairs and opening large doors.

Compensation for this role is $17.00 per hour, with performance-based bonuses available. Employees working an average of 20 or more hours per week are eligible for benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, paid time off, sick time, and flexible spending accounts.
