Customer Service Representative
As a Customer Service Representative at Via, you will serve as the vital link between our innovative transportation technology and the communities we serve. Via is dedicated to transforming public transportation systems into efficient, data-driven networks that enhance access to essential services like employment, healthcare, and education. Operating globally, Via partners with numerous transit agencies to modernize and streamline transportation services.
In this role, your primary responsibilities will include managing daily operations by responding to real-time inputs from drivers, riders, and the Operations team. You will schedule and book rides, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for passengers. Providing prompt assistance to both drivers and passengers through telephone and email support will be essential. Additionally, you will address live operational issues, prioritize customer satisfaction, and make informed decisions to resolve any challenges that arise.
The ideal candidate will thrive in fast-paced environments, demonstrating the ability to make sound decisions quickly and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A strong aptitude for technology is crucial, as you will be expected to learn new software and adapt to changes efficiently. Compensation for this position is competitive, with a starting salary of $22 per hour. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring flexibility, including availability during evenings, weekends, and holidays to support our 24/7 operations.
