The Country Manager will be responsible for developing and executing market entry and growth strategies aligned with EBANX's global objectives. This includes conducting in-depth market assessments, identifying new business opportunities, and expanding the commercial pipeline. The role also involves negotiating and managing strategic partnerships with banks and payment processors to enhance cost efficiency and operational redundancy. Additionally, the Country Manager will oversee operational performance improvements, ensuring seamless merchant onboarding and accelerated time-to-revenue.
Candidates should have proven experience in leading market expansion or regional operations within the fintech, payments, or financial services sectors. A strong track record of managing P&L or key financial metrics, such as Gross Profit and Return on Assets, is essential. Deep understanding of local payment ecosystems, including banking infrastructure and regulatory environments, is required. The role demands strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage C-level executives both internally and externally. Advanced English proficiency is necessary for effective global communication.
