Counsel – Privacy, Security & AI Office

Harness is seeking a Counsel to join its Privacy, Security & AI Office, a team dedicated to ensuring the company's compliance with global privacy regulations and the secure development of AI technologies. In this role, the Counsel will be responsible for advising on privacy and security matters related to Harness's products and services, including AI initiatives. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing privacy policies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with applicable data protection laws. The Counsel will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate privacy and security considerations into product development and business operations.

The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctor (JD) degree and be admitted to practice law in at least one jurisdiction. A minimum of 5 years of experience in privacy and data protection law is required, with a strong understanding of global privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA. Experience with AI technologies and their associated legal considerations is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams are essential.
