Corporate Procurement Manager - Middle East
The Corporate Procurement Manager - Middle East at BESIX is responsible for leading and refining the centralized procurement framework across the region. This role involves ensuring compliance with BESIX's procurement policies and maintaining the highest ethical standards in all dealings. The manager will work closely with various departments, including Tender, Engineering, and Commercial, to integrate procurement strategies within the company's operations.
Key responsibilities include implementing and enhancing digital procurement systems, standardizing workflows, and training project teams to ensure full adoption across all business units. The manager will oversee sourcing strategies for high-value packages, conduct competitive bidding, and lead negotiations to secure optimal pricing and contractual protections. Additionally, the role involves developing and maintaining a vendor database, organizing supplier engagement events, and monitoring regional market trends and supply chain risks.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Supply Chain, Procurement, or Business, along with over 20 years of procurement experience in the design, construction, EPC, or infrastructure sectors. Experience in a senior or corporate procurement leadership role is essential, as is strong exposure to large-scale projects and multinational suppliers. Technical skills required include a deep understanding of construction contracts, procurement routes, and commercial terms, as well as proven expertise in negotiation, supplier management, and cost control.
