Eurofins is seeking a Corporate Development Associate to join its dynamic team responsible for executing the company's strategic business and financial goals through mergers and acquisitions (M&A) across all business lines. This role is integral to Eurofins' inorganic growth strategy, contributing to the company's expansion and market leadership. The Associate will manage a pipeline of M&A targets in the United States, generating $10 million to $50 million in new revenues annually, aligning with Eurofins' financial objectives. This position offers significant visibility within the organization, providing direct exposure to business and corporate leadership.

Key responsibilities include conducting market analysis to identify potential acquisition targets, coordinating information flow between targets and business units, and approaching potential targets to assess compatibility and promote the Eurofins concept. The Associate will negotiate confidentiality agreements, gather and analyze preliminary data, evaluate targets in collaboration with business leaders, and recommend deal structures. Additionally, the role involves coordinating due diligence, assisting in negotiations, validating acquisition contracts, preparing recommendations for the investment committee, and overseeing the closing of deals, including financial statements. Post-acquisition, the Associate will assist in integrating acquired companies by setting up reporting systems, supporting legal reorganizations, and following up on post-closing obligations.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business or Finance, with an MBA or CPA preferred. A science background or interest is advantageous. Candidates should have 4-6 years of experience in corporate development, transaction advisory, investment banking, or private equity, with a solid understanding of the M&A process, including NDAs, LOIs, due diligence, and SPAs. Fluency in English is required, and fluency in Spanish is a plus. Proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is essential. The role requires strong analytical and conceptual skills, strategic thinking, high energy, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-growing environment. Domestic travel of 15%-20% is required.
