Corporate Counsel

The Corporate Counsel position at The Pokémon Company International involves providing front-line legal support to the Marketing and Merchandise Licensing teams. Key responsibilities include conducting legal reviews of marketing materials such as social media content, web promotions, and influencer collaborations. The Corporate Counsel will also draft and negotiate agreements, terms, and releases related to marketing and licensing activities. Additionally, the role involves developing and maintaining legal templates, playbooks, and other tools to streamline processes and ensure consistency across departments.

Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and hold a bar license in good standing. A minimum of three to four years of relevant professional experience is required, with a strong background in marketing, advertising, and promotional law. Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

The Pokémon Company International offers a competitive compensation package, with a base salary range for this role between $99,000 and $173,000 per year.
